What comes to mind when you hear the words, "Good Omens"? Happy tidings perhaps? The tv series written by Neil Gaiman is anything but happy. It's the end of the world, and the only thing standing between humanity and its destruction is an angel named Aziraphale (played by Michael Sheen) and a demon named Crowley (played by David Tennant). The limited series on Amazon Prime introduces you to a cast of multilayered characters. But this isn't just the end of the world story, but the story about an enduring friendship with a fussy book loving angel and a demon who is really too good at his job. Yet between the two, they seem to be the best kind of friends. They look out for one another, spend lifetimes keeping each other alive. In my opinion, this show deserves a second season. The characters are dynamic and there are hints of a war of angels and demons versus humanity really intrigues me. ...
